Anchor links are those links you may see on really long web pages. It may be a text link that says "top" at the bottom of a web page which will take you back to the top of the web page when clicked.

Sometime the anchor link is represented by an arrow pointed up. Another example is FAQ pages. They often use anchor links to take you directly to the "answer" which is further down the page when the "question" is clicked.

Here is an example of the code you will need to insert into the html to get this to work:

<a href="#question1">This is a question linked to an answer below</a>

answer the question above is linked to<a name="question1"></a>

Notice there are two parts the link which is wrapped in an <a href> tag and the actual anchor that <a name> tag. the names can change as long as they match.
