Welcome to the community!

Really you are supposed to review three other sites before posting yours for review. I'll let it slide, but please do so when you have time.

As far as your site... it look nice. It's clean. The colors are nice. And your header is great. Here are the problems I have...

1. I hate ads with sound.

I understand the need for ads, and that's not an issue... the problem is most users want to control when sounds play. It I was jamming a song and then "YOU WON A LAPTOP" started in on me I'd leave just to stop the interruption. I'm not going to search around for the correct place to click.

It's different that the games have sound, as I am starting a game up and can do so after I have adjusted my sound. Plus, my first impression is that the site only wants me there to sell ads... and even if that is true, it needs to be delivered as a second item on the site with the main purpose as to deliver cool games.

2. Your displayed thumbnails are displayed smaller are than your a original thumbnails... causing them to become "gif-tifized".

Example: captainjackadventure.jpg is 120x100 but is displayed as 90x75

I would suggest either changing thier size to the same as what you display... or using something like imagemagik to do it internally on the site.

3. You need a new image to replace the loading.gif on your ajaxtabs. Needs to have a dark background instead of being transparent to white.

4. I'd watch the photos you post in your funny photo gallery. For example: funny-pictures/1333.php leads to a photo of Channel 5 Married News Team from "Tom Goes to the Mayor" and "Tim and Eric's Awesome Show, Good Job!"... which could get you into some copyright issues.

I'd hate to see you get slapped with 100+ counts of copyright infringement only to result in having to shut down your site. We used a widely available image once in a template design. It was seen everywhere, and we were in a pinch... about 4 years later we go hit with a cease and desist letter and actually had to pay a fine. And that's one image at a cost of $400+ and still had to remove it.

We only use purchased images, no matter how bad we need something that seems to be free. I would suggest you do the same. I realize that doing that takes the wind out of the funny gallery... but your site is more about games and I'd just ditch the gallery all together.

If you are really looking to get people posting your images that say "shown at" on them... hire a creative team to develop them for you.

5. I hate when people want to install google toolbar on my browser. I already have it running and the popup I get from it is annoying. So, I'd suggest dropping that too.

So... those 5 things may sound like a lot, but really it's not much. Scaling back the agressive ads will put more people at ease, which will in turn make them want to click your ads as a thank you for a great service.

And lastly... you might consider running your site through http://validator.w3.org/

Hope that helps.

I agree with the ads with sound. It started talking at a very inopportune moment when clicked to enter another page. The colors are good and clean. The images took a little bit to load on my Vista program but otherwise I thought it was a pretty decent site.
