I plan on making this a great repository of helpful tips, tricks and shortcuts that I and others use most often. Please feel free to post on this topic, but if you really don't use the tip or you don't believe that it is a must have then please don't post it.
There are a ton of tips I've seen out there with little or no use at all in real world applications of day to day consistent Photoshop use and then there are those that I can't go one day without using. That's the ones we want!
And one last thing, let's keep thse to short tips. If you have a tip that takes a lot of explaining, than it will probably fall into our tutorial section located here:
