Hello, I am trying to install zencart on a linux virtual dedicated server, I have uploaded all the files inta a new folder called "catalog" inside the httpdocs folder on my website, now I cannot get the zc install to run, I keep getting a 403 error, please help! thanks

I would try a couple of things.

1. Check your .htaccess file to make sure there is not a rewrite conflict.
2. Check the chmod of the folder to make sure its readable.
3. Try deleting and re-uploading the files. (it might be your FTP program)

403 Error = Forbidden:
The request was a legal request, but the server is refusing to respond to it
