It boils down to sending html based emails and copying the html from the page... Are you wanting to send html like a newsletter? Or are you just wanting to share a website with someone else?

I'm not sure what to exactly tell you until I have a better understanding of the end goal. Smile

If you look on this forum,
Joomla Help,
Change payment amount in Sigsiu Online Business,
There is a post by derner and he has captured a picture of a page in joomla to better explain his point...that is what I want to be able to do. He placed that picture on this forum, but James has sent me emails with pictures of different pages in Joomla to help show me what ever he is trying to explain.
You know a picture is worth a thousand words!

ahhhh.

He takes "screencaps" of the page he has pulled up in his browser. Then he edits the image down to showcase the area he is showing.

This is pretty simple to do.

1. Open the page you want to screencap
2. Press the "print scrn" button on your keyboard.
(this will copy a screencap to your computer's clipboard)
3. Paste (ctrl+v) the image into a program like mspaint.
4. Edit the image down with the image editor (ie, mspaint)
5. Save the file.

http://take-a-screenshot.org/ has the walkthrough with images.

Now you can upload that somewhere (or email it directly).

There are programs available to do this for you too... but are really not needed.

Wow, thanks! Sometimes I feel like I'm "getting away" with something on this forum! Shouldn't I be paying someone for all the information and instruction I get?

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

Ha ha ha... That's what the forum is for, people just don't take advantage of it like you do. I wish we had 100s of people in here asking questions all day long. Maybe someday. Smile
